Dec 2007 Cllr Shireen Ritchie has long been associated with ensuring children have the best start in life. Following the Children's Act in 2004 she is Vice Chairman of the London Councils ‘Children and Young People’s Forum’ and also sits as a Local Government Association observer on the British Association for Adoption and Fostering Board. In addition she is Vice President of the national charity, UK Youth and is a member of the London Youth Crime Prevention Board. We are privileged that she has agreed to become one of our Patrons and another advocate for our work.
March 2007 Lord John Lee has a long and very distinguished history in public service, both in politics and health/the public sector so we count ourselves very fortunate to have the benefit of his experience in the future.
March 2006 Dr Chai Patel CBE  has a long history working in and around health care in the UK primarily with older people and those who have mental health problems. He has always championed the cause of vulnerable people and children.
