Ambassadors:

the infant trust AMBASSADORS are people who have a great desire to support and champion the work of the infant trust as well as acting as public advocates for the cause against infant, toddler and small child abuse wherever it happens.

the infant trust AMBASSADORS provide regular funding to the charity either as a single payment or over a period of three years by monthly or yearly standing orders. We seek a minimum commitment of £2,000 which, with gift aid, secures us £2,560 over the three years. This make a huge difference to the work we can do, and the support we can offer. It also takes away some of the main problems of charitable funding – the lack of surety of funds; it is a huge problem for projects we support if they do not have any confidence in regular funds – three years is plenty of time for them to get started and show results.

What can we offer the infant trust AMBASSADORS ?

• The certainty of helping a very worthwhile cause and projects that otherwise often do not get funded
• Public recognition of the part they are playing in helping to deal with this sourge – the names will appear on the website and in the annual report [unless requested otherwise – we do have private benefactors]
• A quarterly newsletter of how we are helping
• A supporters pack with lots of goodies – or you could refuse it, and save money

What do we expect the infant trust AMBASSADORS to do – apart from give the infant trust money?

If you so desire you can be a silent AMBASSADOR

If you want to get publicly involved and help you could:

• Speak to groups and get them involved – we can let you have an aide memoire (so you know what to say!)
• Involve schools, groups, clubs, organisations in fund raising
• Get your place of work to introduce payroll giving
• Get corporate sponsors
• Have a fund raising event - have a sponsored walk / swim / run / pub crawl
• Provide professional advice and/or services
